Are You Comment Worthy?

As a start-up word of mouth is your only shot.  It’s all you have.  As a result, you must focus on being comment worthy. You must stand out. However, it takes guts to stand out.

It’s like being trapped in the rainforest and trying to be noticed by a passing plane. If you cover yourself in branches and act like a tree you will not be seen. But, if you use a pocket mirror to reflect the sun then you have a good chance of being discovered. This is what it’s all about.  You must have a pocket mirror in your business that gets you noticed.

Boring does not work for a start-up.  You must polarize opinion. You must push boundaries. The end goal is to get people to tell their friends about you.

The most important question that you can ask yourself is “am I comment worthy?”.

Sometimes it’s really that simple, isn’t it? I feel a little stupid for not thinking of this myself/earlier, though.
